Greetings All,
Attached below is the information for the first meeting of the newly formed Governing Documents Committee this coming Thursday, the 20th of November at 3 pm. Passcode will be 875529.
I have set this meeting up as an on-line and teleconference meeting, so if you are all able to be at a computer and there are any documents that you would like to look at and edit, please forward them to me as soon as possible. Give yourself a good 15 minutes before the meeting start time to log on and get everything loaded on your computer. This option allows everyone to see the edits being made to the document(s) as well as offers a chat area on the side so that you can cut and paste and type your suggestions as well as speaking them. CCCConfer is a wonderful tool and I encourage everyone to take advantage of it and familiarize themselves with the program.
On our Google Group we have, in the Files section, copies of the constitutions and bylaws of most of the other regions out there… the SSCCC constitution and bylaws are available on our website as well…. So we have a number of resources at our disposal for cutting and pasting and modifying. This process does not need to be overwhelming, though it will certainly a process that takes at least a few meetings to complete the first stage…
Also, I will be in Anaheim this Thursday for the Consultation Council meeting and there is a pretty good chance that I will not be able to call in to the meeting on time or at all and I do apologize folks. The meeting ends at 2:30 or 3 and my flight home leaves at 5 so I will likely be in transit. Good luck, hopefully I will be speaking with you next Thursday if not sooner! Also, I have attached your agenda to this message.
