Greetings fellow social workers,
As we all know firsthand and through the clients we serve, especially given what’s been happening throughout the world, this is a difficult time for many. And somehow, as social workers, we are often expected to make things work in what often seems like an impossible situation. Yet still, you all continue to keep going… thank you. We are so grateful for all you do and hope that you were able to enjoy moments of peace and relaxation.
In honor of MLK, Jr.’s Day of Service, we are kicking off the month with an another community beach cleanup. Why do we do the beach? Because it allows for people to bring family, as it’s a safe place for children. What do you need to bring? Just yourself (and others, if you’d like).
Please see attached flyer, and if you plan to come, please do let me know so we can plan our refreshments accordingly. I apologize for not putting this out in our group every month, as I’ve had trouble keeping up with the demands of it all.
