Happy Fall, Region H!

I want to take a moment to give you a few updates...

As of this summer, Hazel Tercero finished her term as our Assistant Regional Director. With Hazel's leadership, we collaborated with UCLA for professional events in person, launched our mentorship program (which we hope to do again!), and facilitated creative means to engage our members as we trudged through the unimaginable over the past few years. I am personally so grateful to have had the opportunity to meet and work with such a powerful and supportive colleague. Hazel, thank you SO much for your service to our profession- we wish you only the best as you move on in your journey! Please don't be a stranger...

Although Hazel is leaving big shoes to fill, I'm confident our new Assistant Regional Director, Khush Cooper, will take the torch to lead us into a new path with her own unique skills that will further nurture our region. Congratulations, Khush! We are excited for you to join us and thank YOU, as well, for your service to our profession.

Also, I'd like to invite you all to our fall celebration. This will be a wonderful opportunity to meet our new leadership and connect with other social workers. Please see attached flyer for more information. We hope to see you there!

Lastly, I'd like to take this opportunity to point out that NASW is here for YOU. If you have any ideas on how we can better serve our amazing members, please do tell. We are always open to new ideas and leaders who would like to step up and be the change.
