i am turning 32, but since they SAY today's 30's are yesterday's 20's, then i guess i am turning 22!!!!  SO.. :)  i know it's early, but i know my birthday is going to be a hard day for me, without my mom, if i do not have my friends with me.  so i figure, this is the year to throw my own party.  so..  i am planning early, and hope anyone who is able can attend.  don't know exactly when yet or where, but it will be in june, and i am also going to be celebrating the fact that i will have survived the fellows program and (fingers crossed) will have completed this masters degree.  so EVERYONE is invited...  (with the one exception of course, of my ex-asshole, Jay, (if you get this somehow, i of course do not want you there).  i want it to be a blast.  my closest/oldest/newest/dearest...coolest and GREATEST friends, in all the world, wherever you are, please come, if you can.

 

so, here's to getting started.  seasoned nyc friends: susan, stacey, meleena, heidi, and those of you who grew up here, please throw out suggestions as to best places in town.  i'm thinking fun...  and...  manhattan (so my uptown friends will come : ) !! )  please reply and let me know where's the best, and i'll make it happen, and it will be a blast.  i've never thrown a party for myself, and so i can not let myself down.  right!?  ok..  so WRITE back, and let me know your thoughts SOON, and get ready to party! :)  dawn
