Road closure for Half Marathon 22/2/09

Just to give advance warning of some rolling road closures that will be put
in place on the 22nd feb 2009 for the Sussex Beacon Half Marathon.
The route starts out heading up the Old Steine past the Pavilion then off
out of our area until it comes back in through Ship Street/East Street
before heading West on the upper promenade, and returning along the lower
promenade and finishing on Madiera Drive.
The notice given anticipates closures between 9.40 until 10.25. Didn't know
Half Marathons could be run so quick, but that's what they say. I expect
the disruption on the Lower Promenade will be later than that.
