Healthwalks are a great, free way of encouraging people to begin to exercise more by encouraging walking. Walking is a great, free form of exercise, and a good stepping stone into improving physical and mental health.

Less publicised is the fact that walking (rather than sitting in a vehicle!) is fantastic for the environment and puts people back in touch with the "green spaces" around them.

We wanted to help bring peoples awareness to this “green” aspect by organising a "Torch Lit Healthwalk" to promote the WWF Earth Hour Event.

ASB trouble in your (car) park?

Just a reminder that the Central JAG takes place next Thursday 5th March,

The main focus of the meeting will be around the City Centre car parks and a comprehensive analysis of these locations and the problems they face has been carried out. This report is in the process of being finalised and will be a good basis for discussion around tackling the problems. Even if your own work does not touch on the car parks, please don't feel excluded. The issues will inevitably be around crime, ASB, drug & alcohol use and rough sleeping so I would really appreciate your input and professional experience.

Kind regards,

Rob
