Hello Regal Room Friends
Many of you know that we are working to raise funds to take our sister venue, The Bedford, to SXSW and to be able to provide a satge for 18 artists to be seen and heard at their very best.
SO,the indigo fundrasing show was an astonishing night, and I was very touched by all the love and great energy that was in the room, on behalf of all at The Bedford I want to express our deepest gratitude to all the great artists that gave up their time to be a part of this...Follow this link for some great pictures from Simon (thank's Simon)

Not only was the musical part of the night a great success, but we also launched an innovative new campaign to help raise the remaining funds needed to get to SXSW.
We are working with a company called Pledge Music (www.pledgemusic.com)
Essentially we have put together an incredible list of one off "incentives" that you can pledge for. This is an exciting and fun way to raise funds and was originally initiated to help independent artists develop income streams to make records and advance their career in the absence of major label support. So please tell as many bands and acts as you can, as this is a very realistic alternative to allow them go into the studio and capture their music to share with the world.
I announced the website and concept at about 8.30 on Friday 29th January at the indigo show and by Sunday night, 31st of Jan- A mere 48 hours later we had already received pledges that totalled in excess of 25% of our target sum ...quite an astonishing achievement...
However, we now need to complete the financial campaign and raise the final 75% - so please follow THIS LINK (http://www.pledgemusic.com/projects/284 ) -
You will see some fabulous and never to be repeated things that YOU can pledge money for..every penny goes towards our SXSW cause, but the truly great thing is that, once we have reached our target figure we will then be donating 10% of the profits to help Teenage Cancer Trust (www.teenagecancertrust.org).
Even if you have already made a pledge, keep checking back as we have even MORE exciting incentives coming online very soon. Also, for those who have already committed to help us financially there will be some exclusive "pledgers only" videos, pic's and mp3's on the website.
Finally, for all of those of you that feel YOU can add an incentive to the list and help us out, I would love to hear from you. Maybe you can offer a unique experience, or have some memorabilia you would donate to the cause....whatever it is please email me directly at to...@thebedford.co.uk
HOT NEWS - Imogen Heap won a GRAMMY this weekend !
I am very proud to say that, not only is she an old friend from Kashmir Klub days, but that she premiered her whole one woman show at the Bedford a number of years ago in what was one of the most amazining nights of music we've had.
As part of our incentive list, there is a chance to pledge for 2 tickets to see her show in the UK and get backstage passes to meet her afterwards and get some pictures taken..

On February, we have a great show put together by Lexi- called - Re-covered where a number of acts (me included) will play 2 original songs plus a Beatles cover...should be a brilliant night - free entry, great food...doors at 7.30

Love is ALL....
Love is the function of every life, it is the force within that is lost without
Love is the power to fulfill our dreams, to give us great strength whenever there's doubt
Ultimately, love is ALL there is...everything else we do is merely a footnote to love.
We begin our journey at birth and then NOBODY has the same path, some may be similar and some paths may run parallel for a while, but essentially we each create our own road...

The way we view the world, the way we believe the world views us...all based on our most profoundly held sense of Love..
Love, the lack of love, the loss of love, the desire for love, the over suffocation of love, denial of love, corruption of love...every infinitely different type of relationship to love that we each experience makes us the person we are today.....
However, true love only exists in one form...UNCONDITIONAL, ALL EMBRACING, UNDERSTANDING, FORGIVING, NONE JUDGEMENTAL, BRAVE and FAITHFUL...
TRUE LOVE accepts all equally and LIVES IN THE MOMENT...it doesn't care what has been said or done...it only has life, because it is LIVED - now...
The future is an un-written book...ANYTHING may yet happen...so why pre-dispose it to be something negative, when, it is EQUALLY as valid for the future to be positive...in fact the more you focus on a positive future, the more miracles occur, the more magic arrives and the more life is enriched - en-hanced and incredible..
Dive into the unknown waters of "what will be" and be confident that you will swim, not drown..that you will find new lands, not sink without a trace and be happy discovering something new and wonderful everyday..
- ANYONE can do it - it is the Universal law of life...it cannot fail, because the world we live in, has been designed to operate like this..
LIFE is not fair or un fair - it is not good or bad - it just simply IS - I call it the "Business of Is'ness" - it plays no favorites, it simply reacts and responds to what YOU BELIEVE, what you think, what you do and what you project ahead of you...
That is why LIFE is LOVE, they are interchangeable - they are one and the same thing...and if you live a life without love, you are living a life without experiencing all the incredible and wonderful adventures that await you at the very next corner...
