Hi All

 

We hope you are all doing well and surviving the heatwave !...However, we have a couple of very cool events coming.

 

On Tuesday July 7th we launch a brand new night called SONG SLAM

 

Song Slam is an exciting and original way to discover new singer/songwriters. 8 acts who have never played with us before, sign up to take part in the show. Each of the 8 performers play one song after which a panel of 4 independent judges give their scores. At the end of the first round there is a break and then the 4 top scoring acts return in the second half and play another song after which the scores are added up until there are two artists left. Then the act with the final highest score wins a prize, plays one more songand is entered into the SUPER SONG SLAM final to be held at the end of the year.

At the end of the evening we will have a special performance from one of our guest judges

With free entry, delicious food available and a dynamic and exciting show guaranteed to keep you entertained, Song Slam is a night not to be missed. Join us for the inaugural night on Tuesday 7th July

Singer-Songwriter Masterclass

Calling all Young London Singer-Songwriters

 

When: Saturday 11 July from 2.00pm
Where: Regal Room, Hammersmith

 

Rhythm of London has teamed up with the Regal Room in Hammersmith to present a very special event

Four of London’s brightest new singer-songwriting talents – Ellie Rose aged 13, Kadesha aged 16, Natasha Davies aged 18 and Daniel K aged 13, join Tony for an afternoon of performance and conversation about how you can get into songwriting.

Whether you are an instrumentalist, composer, lyricist or singer, this event is a must for all young aspiring performers out there and a chance to put your questions to Ellie, Kadesha, Natasha and Daniel.

This event is free, but space is limited. To apply for tickets, email us at rhythmo...@london.gov.uk

You must put Singer-Songwriter in the subject line.

 

Give us your full name, address, daytime contact number, evening contact number and email address stating how many tickets you would like (max. 4 tickets per person).

Winners of tickets will be drawn at random on Monday 6 July.

We will only contact those who are successful in the ticket draw.
