right here in London Maria Byrne comes to The Regal Room stage to share
her truly heart-stopping tunes.
ANDREW FOSTER
Andrew Foster is a
heart-on-the-sleeve, straight up minstrel, sometime solo strumming
serenader, othertime vocal figurehead and a songwriter with
considerable pathos at his command.

KARIM FANOUS
Sophisticated lyrics, a powerful, soulful voice and polished
guitar work have earmarked Karim as a burgeoning British musical
talent. Born in Saudi Arabia, he moved to London with his family when
he was six. His subsequent immersion in British culture and love of the
UK is reflected in songwriting that sees him mix a wide range of
influences with a very British musical psyche.
BROOKE PARROTT
Parrott's Americana pop sound draws from influences such as Fiona
Apple, Paul Simon, and Brandi Carlile, and she continues to distinguish
herself from the pack with her unusual singing voice and introspective
lyrics. In May 2008 she released her debut album, "Another City", on
Ten til Six Records. She currently lives and performs in London.
YAMIT MAMO
Yamit Mamo is one of the shining stars of London's music scene-
known to audiences across the capital for her powerful vocals and
sensitive acoustic soul. Her influences have included Love, Life and
Freddie Mercury and the past 3 years have been packed with highlights
in a promising start to Yamit's career as a powerful performer and
talented writer.
WAVELENGTH - THURS DEC 4TH
COSMO JARVIS
Having been writing since the age of 12 his music
changes from song to song. Writing in different styles he doesn't see
why you'd stop at one sound! From songs about people (fictional or
real), his life, places, feelings, memories, general situations, the
list is endless.
SAUL ASHBY
A 23-year-old
troubadour seemingly cut from the same cloth as the songwriting legends
he cites as influences. The sincerity of his voice and the warmth of
his lyrics leave you feeling like you're wrapped up in a blanket. After
moving to America to attend the famous Berklee College of Music in
Boston, he lived in New York, working as a session musician and
songwriter. He's now living back in London and working on the songs for
his debut album. Definitely one to watch!
MATT CORBY
As any australian will tell you, Matt Corby shot to fame in 2007
at the tender age of 16 during his time on Australian Idol to become
the stand-out
star of the series. Now Matt is packing his guitar and heading to
cooler climates, figuratively and musically, to work with Sasha
Skarbeck (James Blunt) and Mcgowan Southworth (Ben Lee). Whilst writing
in = st1 ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:smarttags" />London,
Matt is playing a number of industry showcases and gigs.
BAREFOOT CONFESSOR
New London band Barefoot Confessor seem to
be on the tips of a lot of people's tongues right now. They don't
profess (confess?) to being part of any scene, they've just quietly got
on with doing what they do best, penning excellent songs. Recently they
have begun to air these tunes with a series of high-profile shows and
the reaction has been immense.

30th November will see The Sunday Sessions presented by Karma Klub at
The Distillers in Smithfield - the new venue from the team behind the
legendary music venues The Bedford and The Regal Room. The Sunday One
Day Festival will kick off at 3pm (late enough for you to get over your
Saturday night) and run until the evening. Hosted by the one and only
Tony Moore the event will see some of the finest up and coming artists
perform in this chic and stylish new venue.
