Just wanted to officially announce that I retired from TechSoup.org last week after 25 years there.

Here's the E-Scrap News announcement by Dan Leif from today:

I'm planning to continue to moderate this Refurbishers List, but would love to have a co-moderator in case I hit the road to rove around Nomadland a bit. Co-moderatoring is not a time consuming role. It just involves approving messages and new members from time to time and watching out for spam. If you're interested, reach me at original...@yahoo.com.

Good afternoon Jim:

First and foremost, Congratulations on your decision to retire. Quite a milestone.

I must say for the past 20 years you have been my superhero. You have provided a voice and information that made my life easier in the world of being a non-profit leader.

I thank you for your endless contribution as you have helped so many people on their refurbishment path.

I wish you the very best.

Best regards,

Curtis

Congratulations Jim,

I'm sure we owed our status as a MRR/MAR from the Win 2k days in part
thanks to your efforts, and I always appreciate hearing all the voices
on this list, and seeing all the variety. Our larger non-profit has
been buying from TechSoup for years (and continues). Personally I'm
really thankful for you and this list because it's made refurbishing
easier and a lot more interesting. Thanks for all your efforts all
these years!

Regards,

Charles

Jim
Refurbishment owes you a heap of gratitude for your years of dedication. Thank you. You made a difference.  Experience joy in knowing that.  You are leaving things in a much better place than you found it.
I’m roaming too so stay in touch.
