success at reconditioning brother laser printer

Hi refurbishers,

Yesterday I picked up a donated Brother HL-5250DN laser printer with
existing toner. The owner of this printer told me the drum needs
replacing and that the cost of the replacement drum is more than the
cost of a replacement printer -- so he bought a replacement printer.

It's true that a replacement drum from Brother costs $120, but a
reconditioned replacement Brother drum from a vendor on Amazon.com
costs $17.

I know a family who is going to love having their first laser printer
at home. I can spring for the cost of the $17.

I hope I'm not predicting success too soon, but I was real happy to
find a replacement drum at an affordable price.
