Just thought you might find interesting the documents and resources
from the recent Reuse Alliance sponsored ReuseConex 2012 – the 2nd
International Reuse Conference & Expo that took place last month in
Portland Oregon.

presentations. There's a ton of interesting things in that
downloadable document including good info on government surplus.

MaryEllen Etienne and her team have really gotten the Reuse Alliance

I've got some sweet news. Out of 3000 national nominations, L’Oréal Paris has awarded me the prestigious honor of being one of ten 2012 Women of Worth, an award which recognizes women that are making a difference in the world. L’Oréal Paris supports these inspiring women through grants and by raising awareness for their causes. Every year, ten women are selected and recognized for their extraordinary efforts serving their communities. I am being honored for my efforts to join community members together, addressing technology literacy , providing job and social skills training to youth and adults who have autism, and protecting our environment from hazardous waste. As a recipient, NextStep will be awarded $10,000 in December when I go the award ceremony in New York . I'm thrilled about this amazing recognition and the grant, which is so helpful for our work.

Now NextStep has the opportunity of winning an additional $25,000, but we need your help! There is a public online vote for the National Woman of Worth Honoree running from Nov 5th though November 21st. We need your vote to help further the efforts of NextStep.

Winning an additional $25,000 donation would mean we could grant hundreds more computers to marginalized individuals in our community. This is serious money to us!
