average weight of a computer

Hello all,
We just went through a recycling day event and I wanted to put together
an estimated weight for the computer equipment we received. I'm unsure
about the average weight of a computer. Does anyone have that
statistic calculated? If you do, can you provide # of computers and
total weight of computers as well. I'm just looking for an overall
average that I can be fairly certain, so that I can stick into future
estimates for myself and my organization.

Hi Steve,

According to Dell the average weight of a PC is 30lb and monitor is
42lb, for a total of 72 lbs.
