Which model desktops work well for teaching students to disassemble and reassemble?

  A friend of mine is a high computer science teacher.  Next year, he would like to teach his students how to disassemble and reassemble desktop computers.

    Are there any models of desktops that work particularly well for this activity?  As I recall, Dell small form factor computers are easy to open and work on.
