Good afternoon,
After a very successful first cohort, we are pleased to be running another cohort of our Starbucks Employment Programme that will be starting on April 11th. We are currently recruiting for candidates in London. The deadline for referrals is Tuesday 4th April.
Key information
This opportunity includes 4 training sessions, one of which will be in person at the Warren Street Starbucks store. If all training sessions are attended, applicants will have a guaranteed interview with a London Starbucks store. Those successful in their interviews will be supported in their new roles, and those not selected will continue to receive support from their advisor.
- Tuesday, 11th April, 11am to 1.30pm
Day 1: UK labour market and key terms; CV writing , Cover Letter (Zoom)
- Thursday, 13th April, 11am to 1.30pm
Day 2: Job application, Customer service skills, Starbucks culture and values (Zoom)
- Tuesday, 18th April, 9.30am-1pm
Day 3: Starbucks experience - Introduction & taster day – Starbucks Warren Street store
- Wednesday, 19th April, 11am to 1.30pm
Day 4: Interview practice (online)
- Week 24/28 April , timing tbc
Day 5: Store interviews, in person
Starting salary is £11.05 per hour raising to £11.15 after 3 months.
Eligibility Criteria
- Permission to work (refugee status). Please bring BRP card, Home Office letter or family reunion visa as applicable.
- Living in London
- English speaking and listening Entry level 3 or above
- Over 18 years old
When referring please complete the referral form in full and a photo of the front and back of the BRP card, as well as a copy of the CV.
I have attached a poster advertising the opportunity and the referral form. Please do feel free to circulate these where appropriate.
