I hope you are all well and having a great week.

 

I would like to inform you that we are OPEN FOR REFERRALS for our Prepare for Work course

 

This is a short employability course aimed to support those entering the labour market with key employability skills.

 

These course contains short, focused workshops on essential topics (CVs, job interviews, cover letters) giving clients the skills and knowledge to get ahead in the today’s jobs market

 

The course timetable and outline:

 

Session 1: Tuesday  13th February 10-12pm

CV Writing

 

  • How to a write a professional CV.
  • CVs – Do’s and Don’ts.
  • How to tailor your CV to the job you are applying for.

 

Session 2:  Tuesday  20th February 10-12pm

Writing to Employers

 

  • Understanding cover letters.
  • What you should include in a cover letter.
  • How to write about your skills and experience.
  • The importance of communicating professionally with employers.
  • Email communication with employers.

 

Session 3:  Tuesday  27th February  10-12pm

Interview Skills

  • How to prepare for an interview.
  • How to answer common interview questions.
  • How to research the employer before an interview.
  • Talking confidently about your skills.
