Hello everyone,

I hope you’ve had a great week so far!

I am pleased to announce that we are recruiting for the next Starbucks-Refugee Council work opportunity for refugees beginning in early October 2023.

We are open for referrals to the programme across London. The deadline for referrals is the 29th of September. Through this programme many clients have successfully completed the programme and have stayed on with jobs in Starbucks. Thank you so much for all your referrals which have made this possible!

The attached flyer provides a breakdown of the course, eligibility criteria and referral process, please feel free to share this with colleagues or clients that may be interested in finding out more.  Please note, there are limited spaces available so we will be enrolling referrals as they come through but once we reach the capacity for this course, we will close referrals.

Key information:

  • 3 days of pre-employment training on Zoom with a Refugee Council trainer
  • A Starbucks experience day in a central London store
  • A Guaranteed interview for full time or part time roles.

Please note: If clients are “deemed successful” at interviews, Starbucks will contact clients directly once a vacancy is identified in their area. (This could be soon after interviews or up to a few months later depending on store vacancies).

The course includes:

Day 1: Monday 9th October, 11am-1:30pm (Zoom)
