PC Tech/Service Tech

 

The Service Technician position at Technology Specialists is directly responsible for ensuring the accurate and timely diagnosis and resolution of customer issues, as well as the setup, delivery, and execution of new equipment or solutions in accordance with my technical specialty/specialties.  This position is intended to offer the highest quality service and support to our customer through:

 

  • Clear and Concise verbal and written communication
  • Effective and efficient use of my time on client and technology specialists’ issues
  • Maintaining a positive team oriented atmosphere at all times
  • Representing Technology Specialists in a Professional Manner
  • Providing Telephone, Email, Face-To-Face, and Online Support to our clients
  • Training and Certification on existing and new products and Industry Standards
  • Providing world class customer service to our client base
  • Meeting or exceeding all goals given to me by the management of Technology Specialists

 

Requirements

  • Experience required – 2 years plus

 

The Service Technician position at Technology Specialists is Responsible for:

 

  • Timely, Accurate, and Complete Recording of all time spent working for Technology Specialists (Client Tickets, In Shop Tickets, Special Issues, Lunch, Vacation, etc)
  • Timely, Accurate, Understandable, and Complete documentation of findings on Customer Issues
  • Timely, Accurate, Understandable, and Complete documentation of steps to resolution of Customer Issues
  • Timely, Accurate, Understandable, and Complete documentation of any installation, implementation performed
  • Timely and Accurate Diagnosis and Resolution of Customer Issues
  • Setup, Delivery, and Execution of New Equipment and/or Solutions
  • Telephone, Email, Face-To-Face, and Online Support of our client base
  • Scheduling of Service or Installation tickets, or working on tickets that have been assigned to me and scheduled already
  • Assisting in the sales process as requested
  • Obtaining and Maintaining Training and Certification on Products, Technologies, and Industry Standards as required for my technical specialty, expanding my specialty, and also as assigned by management
  • Liaising with various vendors for Technical Support, Project Management, or Solution Delivery as required by the client
  • Coordinating with the various other technical specialties present in the Technology Specialists Organization to ensure all of our clients’ issues are addressed and resolved
  • Delivering of world class customer service to our client base
  • Ensuring I meet or exceed all of Technology Specialists Customer Service Thresholds
  • Ensuring all SLAs and Technology Specialists turn around thresholds are met or exceeded
  • Cross Training to add to my technical specialties
  • Encouraging the purchase of service, replacement, or add on parts
  • Following all company policies and procedures
  • Communicating with Customers regarding their service or installation related issues
  • Driving the continued push to a managed service with recurring revenue model
  • Handling customer complaints and concerns in a timely and professional matter
  • Providing helpful advise to customers on service and sales related issues
  • Keeping informed about developments in the industry, the company, and in customer service to enhance your department
  • Other duties as apparent or assigned
