CS Creative is seeking a full-time Internet User Experience Architect
to work client-side with a leading technology company based in Dallas.
The ideal candidate has experience designing dynamic, data-driven web
pages, online applications, and end-user interactions. You will
utilize established user interface design principles, and your own
expertise in usability and you are an ardent advocate of user-centered
design and the customer experience.

Position Description:
You will guide the user experience of both online and offline browser-
based applications through the various stages of development,
including user interface strategy, requirements gathering, user
research, site map creation, wireframing, usability testing and final
quality assurance. You possess extensive knowledge and experience in
solving user-centered design problems along with managing business
expectations, back-end technology, project timelines and delivery
dates.

Effective personal skills are a must for this position as you will be
guiding the user experience for multiple projects concurrently while
often being the sole user experience architect on a project. Ability
to act diplomatically when encountering user experience issues is a
required skill.
-Create information architecture and guide user interface design
-Create user personae, site maps, storyboards, page schematics/
wireframes, content inventories, application prototypes, navigation
labels and web-friendly error and help messaging
-Design the user interface experience for international and domestic
websites
-Work closely with a team of Visual Designers, Business Analysts, Code
Developers, Project Managers and Business Representatives to develop
the strategy and user interface experience for a wide variety of
projects
-Manage user research deliverables including contextual interviews,
usability testing and recommendations
-Lead the user interface portion of project team meetings
-Collaborate with the User Interface Designer to manage the delivery
of the visual design for projects

Requirements:
-At least 3 years experience in information architecture for the Web
-Experience facilitating user research, including user interviews and
usability testing
-Solid writing and presentation skills
-A well-rounded portfolio of page schematics/wireframes, site maps,
content inventories, and various navigation systems
-Ability to communicate business strategy and branding issues, and to
balance these with user goals, technology limits and budgetary
boundaries
-Ability to manage multiple projects and clients simultaneously, as
well as communicate persuasively and resolve issues effectively
-Knowledge of technical issues involved with web development and
ability to work with Code Developers and groups of engineers
-Ability to keep a positive attitude and handle change
-Ability to work independently, prioritize, and find solutions to
problems
-Ability to work flexible hours to accommodate international schedules
and to travel up to four times a year

Optional Requirements:
-Training in writing for the web
-Background in graphic design
-Experience in brand strategy, advertising, marketing or online
communities
-Familiarity with industrial design, engineering or environmental (way-
finding) design
