Next Meetup?

It's been a while since we last got together, I think I may have
missed the last one as well but to quote Kathy on The Twitters "it's
high time #refreshthamesvalley reconvened for beer and nerding. I vote
for the pub with the parrot, as venue." (http://twitter.com/kathybragg/

I'm not entirely sure where the pub with the parrot is, but I'm almost
certain that the atmosphere of any geek meetup would be improved with
the presence of a colourful tropical bird. That's providing it's easy
for everyone to get to as well!

No doubt people are busy, hence why this hasn't happened yet - that
just means you will have something fun to talk about.

I think I nicknamed it that many years back based on a mishearing. Now
I clearly struggle to use the proper name.

Hey Drew,

Thanks for setting the date, but the 18th is my birthday so I already
have plans. :(

Any chance we could make it a different day? If Tuesdays are your
thing then the following Tuesday (25th) would be good for me or any
Tuesday after that.

Obviously I can't selfishly demand the meet-up be on a good day for me
so if this works for everyone else I will have to give it a miss...

I'm good for either date.

Hand & Trousers sounds like a fun place to go, with or without a
parrot (of course with makes it one high-class joint).
