Refresh Orlando has started up again. The new website is located at
http://refresh-orlando.org.


Refresh Orlando will be a community of web designers, graphic artists,
new media and social media professionals, and developers working
together to refresh the creative, technical, and professional aspects
of their trades in the Orlando, Florida, area. Promoting design,
technology, usability, and standards.

The goal of Refresh is to

* Gather Great Minds
* Share All Of Our Knowledge
* All Grow And Learn
* Promote Local Talent
* Be More Than We Think Can Be
* Make Our Cities Better



Refresh Orlando meetings will consist of a Presentation followed by a
meet/greet at a nearby bar, close to the meeting venue. Meetings can
also consist of multiply 10 minute lightning talks, each talk followed
by group Q/A with each lightning talk presenter.

Presentations would consist of

* Web Design (HTML/CSS)
* Graphic Design (composition, balance, color, etc), and graphic
designers can present their designs and have Q/A session
* Work Focus: Web designers/Graphic Designers can present about their
work and the sites they’ve created
* Open Discussions about the Orlando Technology Community
* Anything that a Refresh Orlando member wants to present, to give
back to the local design community



At the end of each presentation, there would be a meet and greet at a
local bar/pub close to the presentation venue.

The initial venues are:
* Mind Comet in Altamonte Springs
* CoLab Orlando in downtown Orlando

Refresh Orlando will move its venue to other locations around the
Orlando area, from time to time, due to the size of the Orlando metro
area.
