Required Skills:

HTML (5.0 preferred but not required)

CSS

JavaScript OR jQuery OR AJAX

At least 2-3 years experience as a Web Designer specifically with coding at the UI level

Adobe Suite including Flash and PhotoShop and knowledge/experience manipulating images

Website care and feeding experience

Strong understanding of PC and mobile browsers

Must be able to take direction well and have a strong attention to details/follow thru

Must have strong written and verbal communication skills

Reliable

Able to work onsite 40 hours per week

Must have a sample of web design projects

Must be able to solve problems by asking the right questions when you hit road blocks

   

Description of Role/Responsibilities:

The Web Designer will be responsible for writing code in HTML 5.0 and CSS as well as applying design to that code.  They will also act as a back up to the content manager and assist with image manipulation using the Adobe Suite including Photoshop.
