- Use JSTL and custom JSP tag libraries to create and maintain customer account management desktop & mobile web applications for prepaid debit card programs.
- Follow the branding guidelines provided by the Marketing and Creative departments for each program to create semantic, cross-browser layouts using CSS, HTML, and JavaScript.
- Make reusable UI enhancements to customer account management applications.
- Implement and manage all the copy provided by business stakeholders, using standard Java localization properties.
- Work with the QA team to help fix bugs and usability issues.
- Extremely proficient (8/10) in HTML and CSS, including cross-browser compatible HTML5 and CSS3
- Skilled (7/10) with JavaScript for DOM manipulation
- Comfortable (5/10) with JavaScript, JSON, AJAX for data retrieval and presentation
- Comfortable (5/10) with a server-side language like JSP/JSTL, PHP, Ruby or ASP/.NET
- Comfortable (5/10) with Graphics editing and optimizing
- 4-5 years experience developing robust, multi-featured web applications using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript on a server-side application base like JSP/JSTL, PHP, Ruby or ASP/.NET
- Experience creating and optimizing graphics for web apps.
- Experience using source control software like Subversion.
- Experience with internationalization / localization.
- Interest in usability and accessibility a plus.
- Successful candidate will be a self-starting team player with a collaborative work style
