UI Architect Opportunity

Luna Data Solutions is seeking an UI Architect for a client in NW Austin, TX. The Sr. User Interface Architect will be responsible for driving product success through improving the usability of our products in collaboration with Product Management and Engineering. The ideal candidate will responsible for the product design areas including user interface, navigation, interaction design, and business/user process engineering. This involves application of user-centered design methods to translate user needs, business objectives, and technology capabilities into a world-class user experience.

 

Responsibilities:

• Create user requirement specifications, including personas, scenarios, task analysis, flowcharts and organization and navigation models, detailed wireframes, mockups and interactive prototypes to effectively communicate the user experience and user interface elements
• Work closely with development teams to ensure that the solution is accurately translated to the final application

Must Haves:

·              5+ years in UI design, on-the-job experience in a user experience role designing enterprise software applications

·              Experience performing within an Agile environment

·              Must understand design constraints such as browser capabilities

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience designing user interfaces for mobile applications (iPhone, Android and Blackberry)
• Bachelor's degree required; preferred in design-related discipline: Interaction, Information or Interface design; Human-Computer Interaction; Design Planning; Graphic Design; or Communications; Computer Science
