Own the print and visual identity for SocialMedia.org, WordofMouth.org, and our other brands at GasPedal. We are looking for someone to come on board as a full-time on-site freelancer for six weeks. If we work well together, we'll make it a permanent job with benefits.

We are looking for a passionate, talented, and friendly designer to take over our print, web, and WordPress design. We've just finished rebuilding our brands -- and you get to oll out the new look. We're a team that appreciates great design and user experience, and we need your help to do this right. Your job is to extend the look to all of our new projects with consistency and creativity.

You'll get to work on a wide variety of projects (including marketing collateral, events, blogs, websites, and more) that need constant design, improvement, and extension. The job is equal parts print and web, with a lot of WordPress design. You don't need to be a developer, but you need solid WordPress theming and CSS skills.

Here's why this job is great: You're going to get to do everything. You'll own the design for five great-looking brands, each with their own websites, print design, social media sites, blogs, and events. You get to determine each look, improve it, and make it amazing. Every day you'll get to work on a new variety of projects and challenges -- while being the person who ensures that each brand stays strong and clean. We collaborate -- a lot -- so you should enjoy working with a team. There is non-stop brainstorming, creative feedback, and experimentation.

What it's like to work with us

Learn all about our company culture at gaspedal.com/life. We're quirky, so you should read it carefully before you apply.

We spend our days helping the good guys win. We love to serve our customers, help them thrive, and make them stars.

Imagine never having another boring day at work. Imagine a place free of politics and whiners. Combine that with amazing energy and productivity that cranks out astonishingly good work every day. We don't know it all, but we're figuring it out together and having a great time doing it.

Who we are

GasPedal is the company that manages WordofMouth.org and SocialMedia.org.

Businesses everywhere are beginning to realize that honest, ethical customer love is the most powerful kind of marketing. They are learning to listen, to obsess over customer experience, to treat people like people, to value values, to respect the environment, to be part of the community -- to be nice.

We teach them how to do it.

We believe that this is good for society -- and that it's a profitable business strategy. Companies that get their customers for free through the power of word of mouth have a fundamental competitive advantage over those that use expensive marketing to chase fleeing customers. Smart companies reinvest those savings in service, support, and innovation -- putting them even further ahead.

This is a dream job if you're interested in social media, amazing customer service, or the future of marketing. You won't just be reading about the visionaries. You'll be working with them to make the future more ethical and effective. Stop talking about this stuff -- do something about it.
