Hiring Implementation Engineer for thriving Austin Start Up

Our client is currently searching for an Implementation Engineer who’s primary responsibility is the collection and integration of customer data into the client’s Ad Analytics software platform and execution (ongoing) of the software. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Collaborate with customer and internal staff to collect various sources of data through javascript tags, ftp, and automated email.
• Integration of customer data, acting as a technical implementation team member on broad, complex and critical engagements to configure and integrate analytics software.
• Understanding of customer business requirements for data analysis, translating them into a solutions strategy for Attribute implementation and reporting.
• Thorough documentation of integration details for each customer.

 

Description of Function and Responsibilities:

• Work with Client Services team to thoroughly understand the customer’s data and reporting requirements.
• Ensure customer data is consistent with requirements to support strategy for implementation and reporting.
• Configuring system / processes based on customer data and requirements to support:
  • Successful loading of customer data into data warehouse.
  • Accurate schema mapping.
  • Successful reporting generation.

 

Experience Required:

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, MIS, or related is strongly preferred.
• A proven record of data integration experience that includes manipulation of very large data files and relational data modeling.
• Experience with Python, Javascript, Unix and Microsoft OS
• Strong communication and documentation skills.

 

Preferred Experience:

• 2+ years’ experience with data manipulation tools (SQL, ETL, OLAP) preferably in PostgreSQL, GreenPlum, Vertica, Oracle, or SQL Server.
• Advertising experience in digital display, search, affiliate, social, and/or email.
• Working knowledge of Ad Serving platforms such as Dart/DFA, Atlas, Mediaplex or MediaMind and/or RTB platforms Turn, AppNexus, DataXu, etc.
