Challenge the validity of believers baptism and the mode of baptism. I do believe in believers baptism and baptism by immersion only. The Scriptures teach that only believers can be baptized and that by immersion. Historically down to just a few centuries ago the true mode of baptism was by immersion. The candidates for baptism was the main issue and paedobaptism was the main battle ground. Baptist's were forbidden to baptise in the River Thames, because the state church thought it was dangerous to baptise by immersion. Let's here what others have to say. Brethren this is a good opportunity to wax eloquent.
