just suggesting IBM's Many Eyes for visualisation of the data.

Hi Vanessa... thanks for the suggestion. I had a look, and it's impressive in its capabilities.
Two things would steer me away, however...
1. it seems to be a 'hosted' solution... i.e. the actual code, and probably the data sources reside on their servers, and as such, embedding it in the reformcard.com site might be fraught.
2. it relies in Java and Flash, which from a search engine point of view are both 'black boxes'. Basically, they are pretty impenetrable and can't be indexed.
Worth keeping in mind though.
