Reforma L.A. Board Nominations

[REFORMA LOS ANGELES]

Are you interested in being more involved in the Los Angeles Chapter of REFORMA? Consider being part of the 2014-2015 board.  You can also nominate someone to be part of the board. The professional and personal rewards of volunteering are numerous! Nominations are currently being accepted for the following positions:

• Vice President/President Elect 
• Secretary
• Public Information Officer

The duties of the Vice-President/President Elect shall be as follows:

1. To assist in carrying out the duties of the President.
2. To assume the duties of the President in the President's absence or incapacity.
3. To chair the Nominating Committee.
4. To assume the duties of President after serving one year as Vice President.

The duties of the Secretary are as follows:

1. To compile agendas and take minutes for meetings of the general membership.
2. To maintain and preserve the records of the organization. The preservation of records will include publications and history regarding the functions and activities of the organization
3. To be in charge of all official correspondence for the organization as directed by the President.

The duties of the Public Information Officer are as follows:

1. To create flyers, and other publicity for REFORMA Los Angeles events as directed by the President.
2. To maintain the chapter's website social networking sites up to date (i.e. Facebook, Twitter, blog)
