re: New Year

Hope everyone had a great holiday.  I am writing to let you know we have a meeting set for Feb. 3rd location TBD.  It will be our 1st meeting of this new year.  

Some of us will be attending Mid Winter ALA in Philadelphia next week.  Safe flights for all those attending.  

I am working on setting up two visits one to FIDM to tour their library and another at Whittier College Bonnie Wardman Library.  Once dates have been finalized I will send an email and post on our FB page.  

Scholarship applications have been finalized and will be posted.  The deadline for both scholarships, the Dr. Karin and Elizabeth Martinez will be due January 31st. 

If you would like to attend Creando Enlaces at the new library in downtown San Diego go to the webpage   http://www.creandoenlaces.org/  it is taking place March 6&7.  

Lastly, don't forget to submit the name of a library staff or librarian you feel needs to be recognized for their work and dedication to the library & community they serve.
