Dr. Karin Duran Scholarship - RE-OPENED until 2/1/2013

Hello,

The Los Angeles chapter of REFORMA invites current graduate students in Library and Information Science (MLIS), living in Los Angeles County, with an academic or archival focus, to apply for the 2012 - 2013 Dr. Karin Duran scholarship competition.
The scholarship has been reopened for a limited time. New deadline: Friday, February 1, 2013.

Students who meet the following requirements, are encouraged to apply:

• Be resident of Los Angeles County
• Currently attend or have been accepted to an ALA-accredited institution for Fall 2012
• Be bilingual/bicultural (Spanish/English) and/or committed to working with the Latino community
• Plan a career in academic or archival libraries/collections
