First Reopen Phoenix Event, July 10th At Gangplank!

Friday, July 10th, 6pm at the Gangplank (Elliot & Arizona/Country
Club) building, and we need YOUR hidden talents! Reopen Phoenix is a
new group to see (and show) hidden creative sides of peers you know
and love from Phoenix's diverse communities.
This is an official call to action for all of you that secretly play
an instrument, sing, write poetry... anything requiring ears and a
microphone. Go to http://reopenphoenix.com now and RSVP! Or if you
just love music and want an introduction to Phoenix's huge pool of
local talent, attend and show your support. All levels of talent
welcome (and expected). Spectating is strongly encouraged as there
should be plenty of ear food to go around.

Reopen Phoenix is an open mic community dedicated to personal
expression through aural arts. Attendees with hidden musical (or other
auditory) talents are invited to perform and collaborate with the
group. Originals, covers, sheet music--whatever it is you do--it's all
good! Bring an instrument and make some noise, or just be part of the
experience. Reopen Phoenix is an inviting, comfortable, friendly
atmosphere to perform, collaborate, listen, and network with creative
