So, I'm really ready to give up on Flex for mobile dev, it's slow and
sluggish and after seeing Ben's presentation at Flash and the City in
NYC, it's time to start considering Reflex as my weapon of choice for
android development.

Here's my concerns:

Virtualized collections: this is a key concept to mobile ui. This is
critical to my current application,
this is kind of a game-changer on whether to use this platform is
there any info on this in the current alpha, or when is it coming? Can
the current code-base of virtualized collections from open flux be
adapted to work with this?

mx.rpc: How could I use this in a reflex project and still make my swf
sizes small around 20K?

Is there a gallery of apps that exists with reflex yet? I am curious?

Is there any plan to support FDT for reflex, I'm considering a switch.

Good Luck and God speed.

There are some virtualization concepts being established in Reflex, but they're not yet complete or well documented. I'm not sure where this milestone is at, I think Ben has a better idea.

I don't think you can rely on mx.rpc and still have small file sizes. One of the FlightXD projects is going to focus on providing these services in a small and concise package but hasn't been fully started.

There isn't yet a gallery, though I know of a few professional projects that have begun using Reflex.

FDT is very positive toward Reflex and is interested in supporting the platform. We're excited to explore better workflows combining tooling with the software.

Thanks for your questions!

Yes! Absolutely !
The FDT team would be excited to collaborate and help wherever
possible.

Tyler or anyone else with specific Reflex requirements for FDT, please
let me know.
