Hi everyone,

First:
Expect Refinery CMS 0.9.9 to be released shortly once we get these
bugs fixed: https://github.com/resolve/refinerycms/issues (the ones
marked "0.9.9 Blocker").

Second:
Here in New Zealand we don't get a lot of conferences and the
opportunity has arisen for RailsCamp NZ http://railscamps.com/#nz_wel_mar_2011
- I'm pretty interested in going but the cost is making it harder for
me so I thought I'd see if anyone wanted to 'donate to the cause' of
me going and networking with a bunch of other Rails developers from NZ
and Australia and telling them all about Refinery CMS? I need to
raise around $400-500 NZD ( http://www.google.co.nz/search?q=400+nzd+in+usd
) to be able to go including all flights etc.

As I don't like getting money for nothing, I will propose a value add
to anyone interested:

Have you wanted to have a feature implemented in Refinery CMS or do
you want some help implementing a particular use case of Refinery
CMS ? Now's your chance to make the situation a "win win" for
relatively low cost :-)

- One use case I can think of in particular is completing support for
pages having the ability to have their own layouts so that you can
dynamically assign a different structure for different pages. This
has been a fairly highly requested feature lately.

If there's interest, then I can setup something official like a
http://pledgie.com ( we currently have one for Refinery CMS -
http://pledgie.com/campaigns/8431 ) or I can just privately message
you my paypal email address.

Either way, development will continue on Refinery CMS and I'm not
intending to hold anything to ransom or demand funds for something I
gladly do for free currently! I just wanted to see whether something
like this were possible given how great our community have shown
themselves to be.

Thanks,
Phil (parndt)

Thanks to everyone who has given so generously toward this so far, if
you use or have used the Refinery CMS pledgie campaign then we are
counting these toward the total goal (and this seems like the easiest
way).

Also, 0.9.9 is very close as I've managed to knock out most of the
issues that I linked to the other day. I fully expect to release this
in the next few days. Woohoo! This release represents lots of effort
from lots of awesome people https://github.com/resolve/refinerycms/contributors.

I'm constantly proud of the high quality of the Refinery CMS
community :-) thanks everyone.
