PEARL Home Certification Senior Software Engineer Opening

We’re looking for an experienced developer interested in working on creative projects in a startup environment to help make the world more energy efficient. PEARL’s mission is to promote home energy efficiency at a grand scale and to do it with a high growth business, a work hard/play hard culture and a long-term vision. We’ve developed an MVP version of our platform that our initial customers love and want to grow it. The platform includes consumer and contractor-facing web applications, and a database to store information about the energy efficient and other characteristics of large numbers of homes, as well as an innovative back end algorithm to power the whole system.

This innovative marketing and certification platform incentivizes and assists homeowners to make energy efficiency and renewable energy improvements. Our software and services connect homeowners to high-quality specialized contractors, rebates, financing, and other resources. Homeowners and contractors love the system because it lets them develop comprehensive home energy improvement strategies and our ENERGY STAR branded certification boosts the value of the home.

PEARL’s founders are national experts on residential energy efficiency and one of the nation’s leading HVAC contractors. We deeply understand this industry, know what it needs and have a massively disruptive approach to unlocking the value and the market for home energy efficiency improvements.
