Angie Zapata TG Murder Trial on TV

The murder trial of Angie Zapata, a TG woman in Greeley, CO is set to
start this week. The legal network InSession (channel 39 on Comcast,
formerly CourtTV) will cover the trial. Trial is set to start on
Friday, but they will be doing prelim coverage starting Wednesday.

Beth Karas is the correspondent who will be reporting from Colorado
and will be updating through Twitter and her Facebook Fan Page. On the
fan page there is a discussion board where we will discuss this trial
as well as others in the future.

I will tell you that InSession has gone to great lengths to treat
Angie with the respect she deserves. The defense is going to refer to
Angie by her male name of Justin. The prosecution and InSession will
be referring to her by her name; Angie.

InSession held a meeting with GLAAD and several other LGBT groups to
ensure that they get it right.
