So I'm having issues with my ATO. I originally set it up using Curt's
RAGen as a Dual ATO. It wasn't working correctly. When the water got
low the pump would start and keep on pumping past the other float (the
one pointing up) even though it was at the top already. Not sure what
was going on there. It turns off when it times out so I basically have
to reset it all the time.

This time I set it up as a single float (low). The thing is that the
float that is working is the one pointing up. When the water level
goes down the pump goes on and raises the float to shut off the
aqualifter. The lower float is not being used.

I'd like to set the floats to work the same way as my autotopoff.com
dual ato. When the bottom float lowers the aqualifter pumps water til
it pushes the float back up. The top float is a secondary shutoff
float. If the water level gets past the bottom float and raises the
top float the pump is shut off and that way the pump won't turn on
again.

just turn the other float to match the orientation of the lower float, but place
it higher on your mount setup. then wire them in series.

I'm still waiting for this code to happen too. Or I need to get
motivated and figure it out. My first stab at it was unsuccessful.
I'm used to the setup like on autotopoff.com as well. A lower switch
and a higher "emergency" switch. I don't want to wire in series
because I want to use the top one to send me an alert that my lower
switch failed and also to be used with auto water change setup.

The code would relatively be simple. Might be something like below:

if (ReefAngel.ATO.IsHighActive()) {
ReefAngel.Off(1) //assuming 1 is your ATO pump outlet
}

I want it to turn off at low and if not at low, definately at high...
but when I played with it before, no dice.
