Part-Time Female Driver/Errand Buddy Needed
$18.00 An Hour, 12 to 16 Hours A Week

My name is Sooze and I am an active professional woman in my late 50s looking for an experienced, licensed female driver to drive my handicapped van and take me to my appointments and errands. I have used an electric wheelchair since I was in a car accident 16 years ago and I have a Toyota Sienna van that has an automatic ramp in the back so I can enter and exit. My health is good and I do not need any physical or personal assistance. I am very independent, I just cannot drive.

I have a vibrant, outgoing personality and a variety of interests. I’m looking for a woman who is very personable and will enjoy spending time chatting, sharing stories and having a good time while you drive me where I need to go. My days include many different types of appointments and activities, usually between Redwood City and Palo Alto. I require 3 to 4 days a week for a total of 12 to 16 hours.

I need you to reliably pick me up at my home in Redwood Village on the days I need you and drive me where I need to go. You will need to wait nearby for me to finish up my appointment, and then drive me home or perhaps do a grocery store run or other quick errand for me.

The hours and days you will work can be somewhat flexible, but I do need certain hours covered on certain days so we can discuss our schedules when we meet.

You must have –
An unblemished driving record
No criminal history of any kind
Be comfortable using GPS to get around since I do not use it
No smoking, drinking or drug use
Excellent references and very comfortable speaking English

Pay is $18.00 an hour.
You will be a freelance contractor and will invoice my bookkeeper twice a month and she will mail a check to you right away. She will provide you with a 1099 tax form at the end of the year.
