to Reduce Farm Costs, ceas...@yahoo.com
Pure Black Castings(tm) are more than an organic fertilizer. It is a
living organic fertilizer that is setting the standard for all
fertilizers.

This living organic fertilizer has an extremely high bio diversity
that is responsible for Nutrient cycling (nitrogen up take), Nutrient
retention (retain nitrogen when plants are not growing), Improved
structure, infiltration and water-holding capacity (stabilize larger
aggregates), Disease suppression (compete with disease causing
organisms) and Degradation of pollutants (degrade a wide range of
pollutants). We have a proved track record for growing and maintenance
programs in the below listed areas:
Golf Courses

Second year of a three year turf and lagoon management program on one
of the top privately owned golf courses in the US. We have reduced all
chemical use by 75% and also reduced the amount of fungicidal use,
saving the owners $40,000. Our system has greatly reduced their
problems due to run off in an environmentally sensitive area (wet
lands). Our combination of pure worm castings and the liquid extract
has been quite effective in managing the fairways, roughs, bunker
faces and the greens. Have great success in controlling the brown
patch, phythium, fusarium, dollar spots and other fungus and molds.

Also working with the IPM in the City of San Francisco on the Golf
Courses, Lawn Bowling Greens and the Hyde Park Flower Conservatory
using the liquid castings extract and the pure worm castings.
Achieving great results in lagoon management, turf and flowers.
Micro-Greens

SunRay's Harvest, LLC has benefited extremely well with our growing
technology based on our Pure Black Castings(tm) system. Quality not
organic certification was our driving force for using pure worm
castings. Once SunRay's requested inspection for certification, no
adjustments (other than record keeping) had to be made in procedure or
growing media. His germination rates are always better than the seed
company states. Seeds germinate in 24 to 36 hours and are harvested
every 7 days. SunRay's Harvest has twice the shelf life compared to
his competitors. So it is not surprising that the chefs from San
Francisco to Miami are able to pick his product over competitors by
the more brilliant colors and significantly better flavor. His product
sets the benchmark for the other producers.
Organic Greenhouse Tomatoes

Our program has been successful in lowering the pH into optimal range
and reduction of the salt content. This translates to better
production, better shelf life, and getting an edge on the marketing.
Woodland Gardens (Organic Certified Farm)

The general manager has doubled his revenues using our system for both
greenhouse and farm production. His heirloom tomatoes are demanding
top price in the Atlanta, Georgia area and is getting great reviews
from the area chefs. He has noted the amount of culls have been
dramatically reduced and shelf life has increased as well as the color
and taste of his produce. They are now introducing micro greens into
the market place.
Citrus Grove

A new 20-acre grove in South Florida is using our planting and
maintenance program. They are growing a new variety of oranges for a
large juice processing company. They will get into production one year
earlier and have more fruit that is larger & sweeter than seen with
conventional methods. This is based on previous experience growing
citrus for the past 12 years using our planting mix, pure worm
castings and liquid worm castings extract.
Vitaculture

In California the vineyard is using the Pure Black Castings(tm) to side
dress the plants and using the liquid worm castings extract to replace
the sulfur for leaf mold control as well for foliate fertilization. In
Illinois a new vineyard is being planted for organic certification.
They are using both the planting mix and complete fertilization
program including the liquid extract from the pure worm castings.
General Farming

We are changing the way farming practices, the only way I know how,
i.e. increasing the bottom line. Spring of this year we took a 20-acre
wheat field that had 40 pounds/acre of liquid nitrogen applied in the
Fall of 2002 and flagged a 4-acre plot at random. Spring of 2003
another 80 pounds/acre of nitrogen was applied to the 16 acres and 50
gallons/acre of the liquid extract from the pure worm castings was
applied on the 4 acres.

RESULTS: The 4 acre plot had a higher weight per bushel & lower
moisture content so it was not docked. The 16-acre plot was docked
because it did not meet the weight or moisture content. Savings in
fertilizer cost and no docking fees was $24.28/acre.

We are looking forward to the harvesting of the Milo and Soybeans
where the pure worm castings and the liquid extract was used at time
of planting and during the growing season. This pure worm castings
liquid extract replaced the chemical fungicide to prevent damping off
of the young seedlings. Increased germination rates noted.

As far as I know this has never been done before. The yield was about
the same in the bushel/acre. But the wheat was healthier, heavier and
did not require the amount of moisture to maintain it's integrity. I
do not expect to completely eliminate all chemical use from the
agriculture and golfing industry, but now we can reduce the amount of
ground water contamination & run off pollution of the waterways. We
can have all this and still harvest a better crop that contains more
minerals. A bonus on top of the cost reduction and increased bottom
line with our system.

You can concern yourself with the numbers game (10-5-5, etc) or you
can use a complete product that is simple to use with great results.
Why make your life so difficult with the numbers thing or by expensive
soil tests that tells you nothing about the bio diversity of the soil.

Food is grown on rich and fertile soil. Removing crop after crop, year
after year, rapidly depletes the soil. Simplistic replacement of the
NPK does NOT replenish the soil and only leads to the sad insipid
excuse so commonly stacked high on supermarket shelves. On the other
hand balancing the soil with mineral enriched worm castings allows the
production of fruits and vegetables of superb flavor and taste fit for
royalty, i.e., your family.

A refractometer and a brix chart can help you know that are doing the
job right. An organic certified product does not necessarily indicated
true quality. Organic certification indicates no chemical additives,
pesticides or herbicides used - see if they match up to the brix test.
Take one of those samples on the Farmer's Market tasting table and
test it. Our pure worm castings have the proper bio-diversity and
minerals to assure a high brix reading from your produce.
