Q 8: Is photography Haram (prohibited) or not?

A: Yes, photographing soul-possessing creatures and the like is Haram. Whoever does this should repent to Allah, seek His forgiveness, regret what they are doing and never do it again. May Allah grant us success. May peace and blessings be upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and Companions.
