He was actually a worshipper of dall and Mushrik.(Naujubillah)                                                                                          What is said in Islam : According to Quraan Shareef and Hadish Shareef The father of Hazrat Ibrahim Alaihis Salaam Was Hazrat Tarikh Alaihis Salaam, not Azar. He believed in Allah. And Azar was Hazrat Ibrahim Alaihis Salaam’s uncle. The Arabic word ‘Abun’ stands for both father and uncle. So ‘Abun’ was used for Azar in Quraan Shareef.
