Hi.

Got this from SolidRun. Gordan how is this compared to your Gigabyte MP?
They have a 50% discount on the pre-production board, so I am considering buying one.

ClearFog CX Lx2K is a robust embedded Mini ITX platform designed for the COM Express type 7 form factor – offering a flexible and feature-rich carrier for a range of COM Express type 7 modules.

Sorry, it was the HoneyComb board that had a $200 discount 🙂

That looks pretty cool. I cannot spot the difference between the HoneyComb and the ClearFog. What is the difference supposed to be?
16 cores will be better than the 8 cores on my MP30-AR0, but the MP30 has up to 128GB of ECC RAM (and mine is fully loaded).
Also no mention of whether this supports ECC RAM.

One thing to check specifically is whether their ARMv8 implementation provides backward 32-bit ARM compatibility. 32-bit compatibility on ARMv8 is optional rather than mandatory.

On a semi-related note, I have MP30-AR0 fully up to date on various things. I'm hoping to make some headway with getting a ssh-able container for RSEL7 on it for you guys.
Do we have koji-builder package group / dependencies in RSEL7? It'd be super-handy if we could finally move to koji for mass package building.

Is anyone still maintaining RSEL6? Just want to know whether I need to repeat that exercise for RSEL6 after I have RSEL7 set up (but after RSEL8).

Hi Gordan.
>What is the difference supposed to be?
Not sure, I think the HC is ment as a workstation while the CF is ment as a server, metro etc.

Koji for EL7?
If so, yes.
I still have my EPEL7 koji running at https://koji.dev.saltbaek.dk:9443/ but was thinking of converting it to EPEL8 (though there are not any official EPEL8 ).

>Is anyone still maintaining RSEL6?
I was the last maintainer I think and I do not think anybody stepped in to continue the work.

BR,
Bjarne
