Not sure if you saw the conversation on centos arm list, but it looks like the reason FF after v52 is having issues on various ARM32 platforms is because the build process started to assume that NEON is always available, when in fact it is not guaranteed to be available even on armv7hl. I just found out the hard way that the CentOS built FF after v52 dies with "Illegal Instruction" on Tegra 2.

So there is an outside chance that patching out the NEON assumptions might just get it back to a working state again both for us and for CentOS.

Yes, I saw the conversation. But the redsleeve issue is different.
Firefox needs rust to build. And, IIRC, rust needs a recent llvm
compiler. Those do no longer support armv5.

What I got from the other discussion, is that it build, but crashed. On
armv5 I cannot get the tools needed for building.
