BCM Update for August (We have a video on YouTube!)

Friends,

I hope you are all doing well. It has been an incredible summer personally and in ministry. As the class of 2016 is preparing to enter the college campus in a few weeks, I am always excited to see how God will change lives as mine was during this time 11 years ago.

Through prayers, favor from God and hard work, here are the summer goals we accomplished:

- Raised over $6,000 in new gifts

- Phone Appointments with BCM Coordinators across the Eastern US to brainstorm serving staff and students

- Joined InterVarsity's 2012-2014 National Speaking Cohort 

- Attended Pastors Conference with over 700 pastors 

- Put together a plan to help plant new work at UT-Arlington and Austin Community College

- Created a video to communicate new role and vision to partners, alumni and friends

God has been good to us! 

As the Fall starts, here are some prayer requests for the region:

1. Pray for our students, current and future.

- Pray for lives to be changed by the power of the Gospel.

- Pray for boldness for students to be witnesses on campus.

2. Pray for the Holy Spirit's Presence with University Administration.

- Pray God would continue to open doors and solidify partnerships with colleges so we can serve the Gospel on campuses throughout out the region.

- Pray University Faculty and Staff would come to faith from the work God is doing through InterVarsity.

3.Pray for funding for Michelle Verrill, Jovin Adjeitey, Walter Turner, Sosi Haile and myself.

- Pray that each of these staff would raise enough funds to reach 100% of each of their budgets (about $45,000).

- Pray for church partnerships as I continue to meet with pastors in our region and build new partnerships to serve staff and students.

I am honored to with some of the the best people in the world as we partner with God to see students and faculty transformed, campuses renewed and world-changers developed.

I will send out a BCM State of the Region update in October.
