Next Tuesday's meetup

It's some films, about/of John Berger.
And since they're one possible good way in to his work, or a nice way to get to know it from another angle, a few of us thought it might be a nice change from the Carpenters' Arms to decamp there just for that day, which is this coming Tuesday the 17th.  The idea being that those who fancy the films catch them, then after (around 19h30) they and any later arrivals find each other in the lobby and find a convenient spot to chat about what was seen, any ideas that come out of it that might feed well into our schemes.

Great idea! Wish I could be there for it.

We should update the website to let people know - and this could be a good opportunity to add a bit more information to the site, generally.

Does anyone have suggestions or thoughts for what else we might want on the site at this stage?

I gave the BFI Southbank a call just now and bought their last two tickets - so if someone wants one of them please let me know! 

The guy I spoke to said they will release some tickets at the BFI half an hour before the showing on Tuesday - but do not know how many they will release. He said it's worth heading down early and taking a book if you want one of these tickets.

I haven't one myself.  Plan is to meet up afterwards, but I'll be there early, and if anyone else is similarly without we'll hang out during, too.

Myself and Katy both went to the John Berger films (it wasn't full
up). They were very interesting, although I enjoyed the interview with
Jeremy Isaacs best. We had hoped to see others there, but missed
you. I'm intending to come along to the Carpenter's Arms next week,
