I loaded my game and i was on chapter 7 after disabling the AI and trying to get the power back. It's exactly before the Reflector adjustment objective where you have to go to space and move the huge reflectors (or mirrors). I opened the power node room which is beside the save before the reflector moving part. I saved my game and when i loaded it later i went in again (call it fate ) then i found that a medium health pack and a gold semi-conductor and some ammo in the room. I tried it a couple of times and it seems like it actually works. the only problem is that there is no store that can be accessed while doing the glitch. (so it's not as useful as the one at chapter 14) But since its 7 chapters before the other one i think it could be more useful.
- Since i discovered this glitch it gave me the idea that maybe this kind of glitch can be recreated in other chapters or cases. (so please if you see a save panel room and a powernode room that can be accessed at the same time please try this)
Edit:i dont don't even have to backtrack....i've passed from 2,500 credits to 60,000 in less then 5 minutes ... the only thing is that i dont have a store around so my inventory is full...i'm leaving all my small medpacks on the ground, and when i restart the checkpoint ( after i've saved ) they're still there alongside all the stuff that appears each time....
Actually this one would be more useful (even though you only get a medium med pack and a Gold semi-conductor and some ammo) since you can access the room much faster than the chapter 14 glitch, and also it is earlier.
Well u can still buy nodes from the store. but yeah., if u want to get all achievements in one playthrough (except Hardcore) the one on chapter 14 can help. This one is more like if you're playing on zealot and need some cash and med pack's.
So iv done the chapter 7 credit glitch and now I cant hack the terminal to open the solar array terminal anyone else having this problem and does anyone know how to fix it I really dont want to start over.
Environmental Hazard is the sixth Chapter in Dead Space. Isaac goes to Hydroponics in an attempt to fix the air quality issues on the Ishimura, and ends up face-to-face with his biggest challenge yet.
Follow the Locator path to backtrack your way to the Security Station, then back to the Tram from there. When you arrive at the Medical Tram Station hop on and set your destination for Hangar - Cargo - Tram Control.
Visit the Store on the Tram deck here if you need, and remember there is a Bench through the Medical door to the right. When you are ready to proceed go through the Tram Station Hall door to complete your current objective.
From here, you need to go straight ahead through the Tram Repair Room. BUT if you check the map, you can also see that there is a Security Clearance 1 door nearby. Revisit the spot where you found the Stasis Module way back in Chapter 1, it is just up the Tram from there.
Backtrack to the hall from before and make your way to the aforementioned Tram Repair Room. Expect some Necromorph interference as you make your way across the room to the Hydroponics Tram Station door. Listen to the voice call, grab the Ammo in this hall, then enter the Tram Station.
Grab the Audio Log from the bench in the waiting room, then walk out onto the Tram deck. Loot the floor chest by the door then override the station lockdown to gain access to the Tram. Before heading out via the to Hydroponics door.
Go back out into the hall and make your way to the end where you will find the Hydroponics Central Hub elevator. Hop out, smash the Item Box by the elevator, then grab the Credits off the floor. Go through the door to the Sapling Room where you will find some floor chests, as well as a warning message from Dr. Cross telling you to run away.
Inside you will find a Save Station, a Store, some lockers, and a whole bunch of locked door. Loot and do whatever business you need to do, then interact with the computer in the middle of the room to Initiate Enzyme Synthesis using the Liquid Nitrogen.
She will give you an idea of how you can defeat the Leviathan, a giant monster that has taken control over Hydroponics. After the call your objective will switch, sending you back to the Central Hub.
After grabbing all the items you can hop on the elevator on the opposite side of the room and ascend to the next floor. Expect a Necromorph ambush, but you have plenty of space to deal with it. Go straight ahead to the West Grow Chamber.
Note all the explosive tanks lying around. I recommend grabbing one because there will be Necromorph ambushes as you walk around this room! Expect a combination of typical Necromorphs and Lurkers. Make use of the massive space to run around. Try and get them to group up. Use as many of the tanks as you can.
The Force Gun, as the name suggests, is a cannon that releases a burst of energy. Remember when I said the Line Gun was sort of like a shotgun? Maybe I spoke too soon, as the Force Gun may have the proper claim to that comparison. The primary fire lets loose a blast that sends enemies flying across the room, dealing damage as they run into the environment and each other.
Exit the room and head into the other nearby room, West Seedling Room B. This room is full of toxic gas that has been released by the first Wheezer. The Wheezers are non-aggressive enemies so don't worry about attacking, just approach it and interact to inject the enzyme.
Expect even more Necromorphs when you step out of the Seedling room. Try to use any remaining tanks or fans lying around to save Ammo. Once the threats are gone, hop on the elevator in the middle of the room and ride up to Floor 3.
There are some sneakily placed items in this room, including some Credits under one of the tables and a Large Med Pack on top of a shelf in the corner. There are also some others out in the open, including some Ammo and Credits on the tables.
Finish buying and selling then head through the next door into a long hallway. Here you will encounter a new enemy type, a stringy Necromorph with a large glowing sac attached to its arm. If you let them get close the sac will explode, dealing massive damage.
Instead, simply shoot the sac directly as they approach you. Plasma Cutter or Pulse Rifle are ideal weapons for this. You can also use the Cutter to dismember and detach the exploding sac, which lets you pick it up and throw it back at them.
Deal with the group of them in whatever manner you choose, then loot their bodies before heading to the other side of the hall. Through the next door you will find a Save Station, then the Refrigeration Tower.
Just be careful of the spikes on the floors and ceilings, and of the various Necromorphs that will attempt to ambush you as you ascend. Dealing with enemies in zero-g can be a bit annoying, so I highly recommend using Stasis to simplify things a bit.
This is the final floor, and you will notice a dock of sorts you can land on. Be careful! As soon as you land on this dock you will aggro the nearby Guardian and it will begin spitting out tentacles.
You want to land on the dock quickly, then rush through the force field. There is actually a Stasis Tank and explosive tank in this small room so use them if you want, but if you don't wanna fumble around just Stasis the Guardian and blast it with a firewall as usual. This should kill it before it can spawn too many tentacles, which you can then deal with using the Cutter.
Once you are back in the Grow Chamber interact with the Circuit Board near the door. Reroute the power from the door next to you to the other door circuit. Make your way to the other side of the floor where you can now enter the newly unlocked Hydroponics Control room.
Once the enemies are dead you can loot the lockers in the corner before heading out the East Grow Chamber door. This room is similar to the other grow chamber, but the Leviathan's growths are much more prominent here.
With the enemy dead quarantine will lift and you can explore the first floor. Just like before there are some Item Boxes scattered around, one near the elevator and the other in a corner near a smashed planter.
Still, we can access the Bench here (beware, your Oxygen still ticks down while you are upgrading) and grab the Medium Med Pack, Item Box, and Deck Systems Keycard. There is also a Stasis Recharge station, be sure to use it on the way out.
There is another Store here if you need to buy/sell, otherwise just walk right past and into the next hall. Make your way to the end of the hall (be sure to smash the Item Box in the middle) and you will get grabbed by the Leviathan again.
The Zero-G section is also pretty similar, except there are Leviathan growths everywhere as usual. Making matters worse, there are some of those tentacle enemies that the Guardians spawn scattered around.
Go immediately left to find an Item Box, then go right to find the elevator. When you get off you will see one of those circuit doors, and across the room is an Item Box and some Credits, as well as an explosive tank.
Break the circuit to unlock the door. Open the door and you will be able to see another door across the tube, with another circuit. Shoot that circuit to unlock the next door, then turn around and grab the explosive tank. With the tank in hand, wait for the flames to subside then run through Tube 1 into Tube 2.
Tube 2 is not active, but there are a couple of Necromorphs waiting to ambush you. Blow them away with the explosive tank, then break the circuit on the door to Tube 3. Open the door and shoot the circuit across from you to open the final door, wait for the flames to subside, then run across to get out of the tubes.
Back on the second floor, start by crossing over to the other side of the room (smash the Item Box by the door as you pass) and entering the Control Room. Inside is a Text Log, Technical Manual. Expect a Necromorph ambush.
Hit the Locator and follow it to the Annex Storage room (check behind the boxes next to this door to find some Credits). Head into the Storage to find another Wheezer, as well as some Credits, Ammo, and a locker.
