New Video: Migrants Take On The News Media / Migrantes Vs. Los Medios

We've made the world's first comedy about Central American migrants in Mexico, and it has been released free online!   The film was conceived at The School of Authentic Journalism which needs your support today. (See the bottom of this message to learn more about that.)   I'd like to ask your help in two important ways to get the word out.   First, I'd like you to share the video.   It's called "Danger! Journalists Crossing!" and it follows Armando, a migrant from Honduras. While passing through Mexico he and his friends decide they've had enough of the media's lies about migrants, and with some careful planning and organizing, they fight back against deceptive journalism.  In the process, they become formidable political organizers and set their sights on greater political goals.   As Armando says in the video: "Everyone knows life is sad.  But the story of a creative and organized struggle is worth a thousand stories of tragedies and sadness."   You can watch it on Facebook where over 14,000 people have already seen it in just one day: https://www.facebook.com/narco news/videos/10152673637866261   Or if you prefer you can watch it on YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FrA5PthXufk   It was produced in collaboration with a team of Central American political organizers in Mexico and was directed by yours truly, Gringoyo. ¡Hemos terminado la primera comedia en el mundo realizado con migrantes centroamericanos en México y lo puedes ver en linea!   El video nació durante la Escuela de Periodismo auténtica, misma que necesita de tu ayuda. (Al final de este mensaje puedes ver como puedes apoyar a la escuela.)   Quiero pedirte tu ayuda de dos formas, ambas muy importantes:   Primero quiero pedirte que compartas este video.   Se llama “Peligro! Cruce de periodistas” y cuenta la historia de Armando, un migrante de Honduras. Durante su viaje por México, el y sus amigos deciden que ya se hartaron de las mentiras de los medios sobre los migrantes. Con organización y planeación  deciden luchar en contra de este periodismo enga;oso. Mientras tanto, se vuelen organizadores políticos poderosos y deciden luchar por metas políticas más grandes.   Como Armando dice en el video:  “Todos saben que la vida es triste.
