Hullo all,
I'd like to add some file types to the 'allowed' list but all I can
find is the mapping in pupload.js

As an example, we use Omnigraffle for our schematics and flow
diagrams. It'd be GREAT to share these documents in DMSF. However,
DMSF doesn't throw an error, but apparently doesn't know what this
file is. How do I give it instructions?

Any suggestions?

Thanks in advance,
Melinda

Hello,
DMSF recognizes just several basic file types to properly assign
corresponding icons. But you can store any type of file in DMSF. In
your case it will be probably handled as application/binary mime type
and will have general file icon.

I figured out the issue... which wasn't a DMSF issue at all.

Omnigraffle files are actually folders by default, apparently. In mac
os, when you look at the file info, it doesn't show a file size.
But they can be saved as a flat file, which I didn't know.

For anyone who experiences this issue -- check your 'save' options
dialog in Omnigraffle. Change it from 'automatic flat or package' to
'flat'.
that's it.

That has been why I couldn't upload them or transfer them via IM,
etc.

I LOVE DMSF by the way. It was a cinch to install, it has lovely
interaction (LOVE drag and drop).
LOVE the versioning system.

This is a very helpful feature. We're using it in an installation of
Chili.

Thanks, Vit.

Once I saved it as a flat file, I was able to upload it.
