I'm trying to upload my feed data file along with my test but I get an error that the test is invalid when I include my CSV data. What format is being expected for this? What's the maximum size? My data file is 14 Mb, so I'm assuming that's what is causing the issue. Is there anything in the professional edition that would help with this dilemma? I'm trying to evaluate now if your platform will run our tests before signing up.

Thanks very much,

Daryl

Actually, while I'm asking questions, I guess there is no way to pass in Java options for a Gatling test, which is too bad. We use java properties to customize each run. Is the -Dsun.net.inetaddr.ttl=0 option at least being used? Otherwise, DNS entries are cached for the entire run, which breaks ELB. Thanks!

Our Gatling guy is on vacation until Wednesday, so you probably won't hear from us until then.  We are still learning Gatling and what your community wants and needs, so I expect we will be able to add these features in the next month or so...

Thanks for the feedback.

Thanks for the response. I tried running it as a JMeter test instead but I get an error that my 5 Mb gzip compressed CSV file is too large.

Daryl,

On the file size - non-pro has a 5MB limit.  We will update the UI to report that clearly when uploading/selecting files.
Pro currently has a 20M limit, which depending on feedback we will extend as it makes sense.

Regarding Gatling -  We are definitely looking for feedback on this front.  We have a few items for gatling in the queue, java system properties was not on the list.  Will have to review the details when I get back to figure out when we could add something like this.

Rich

Recap this was a file size issue.  But have also just recently updated the gatling support for multiple files, splitting files, and expanding tar/zip files.

This is still not obvious (if it's documented at all based on my search). In fact I've tried uploading 4.1mb of files on free plan and got `File too large` error. But I have been able to upload smaller JMX files successfully - it didn't work but that's another thread.
