Hi folks,

Here’s another monster FOSsil Bank Update. I’ve split it into two parts, the second of which I’ll post next week.

As always, please get in touch if you’ve found any libre or shareable content and I’ll chuck it on the wiki.

#FundFreeCulture

There is just three days left on the Subaqueous: USB Splash Drive and Remix Album Kickstarter. I’ve listened to some of this music and it’s pretty good – I hope it makes the $200 it needs for it (stems and finished songs) to go CC BY-SA. (3 days left; $1,975/$2,222)

The second Future of Copyright Contest has begun raising funds on IndieGoGo. Already a proven success from last year. (CC BY-SA; 15 days left; $400/$500)

Assets from an abandoned Blender game project are being ransomed on IndieGoGo. Quite a few assets have already been shared. (CC0; 6 days left; $675/$500)

Data Dealer is an online game about collecting and selling personal data. (CC BY-SA; 18 days left; $5,951/$50,000)

Lunduke, a game designer and comic creator, is releasing all of his works as libre to try to make a living off of it.

Rhythos RPG Builder was a project to create a libre game editor. Unfortunately, it did not make its target. ($1,694/$12,000)

The Foundations for an Open Source City is now on Lulu and Amazon. (CC BY-SA; $7 EPUB, $7 Kindle, $15 hardcopy)

The Software Freedom Conservancy is running a fundraising campaign to develop an open source non-profit accounting software. ($52,842/$75,000)

t.b.d. is a TV miniseries about twenty-somethings in a conflicted Midwest town. Unfortunately, it did not make its goal. (CC BY-SA; $166/$5,000)
